Evliya Çelebi's route met with art

Inspired by the 17th-century Seyahatname (Travel Book) by the great Ottoman traveler Evliya Çelebi, the exhibition "In the Footsteps of Evliya Çelebi" was presented to art lovers at the Rami Library, a collaboration between the Kadıköy Bostancı Public Education Center and the Tuzla Public Education Center. The project is being implemented under the coordination of the Ministry of National Education's Directorate General for Lifelong Learning. Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin also visited the exhibition. Emphasizing the importance of public education centers in the transmission of social culture, Minister Tekin said, "Such projects allow us to understand our past not only through reading, but also through feeling. Evliya Çelebi's spirit of curiosity and discovery is revived today through art."
50 WORKS WERE WORKED: Inspired by Evliya Çelebi's journey of 47 countries and 257 cities, approximately 45 trainees captured the landscapes they witnessed through the traveler's eyes on their canvases. The exhibition, comprising 50 works in total, reinterprets the cultural fabric of the cities mentioned in Evliya Çelebi's Seyahatname through the language of painting.
