Aurora at Küçükçiftlik Park: Turkish praise, Palestinian message

Organized by Epifoni, the evening was opened by Amelia, followed by popular Turkish singer Aleyna Tilki. Tilki performed a rock-inspired set, including Yavuz Çetin's beloved song "Yaşamak İstemem." Tilki surprised her fans in Küçükçiftlik by performing her song "Bitti" from her upcoming album "Kırların" (Kırların) for the first time.
'GODDESS OF DAWN'After Tilki, Aurora, the most anticipated performer of the night, captivated her fans with her engaging demeanor and vibrant stage energy. Frequently appearing in Homer's Iliad, Ovid's Heroes, Virgil's Aeneid, and Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Aurora, the "goddess of dawn," renews herself every morning in Roman mythology, flying through the sky to announce the arrival of the sun. With her captivating voice, Aurora, deserving of her title as a "goddess," renewed herself with every song on stage. Her powerful vocals and theatrical stage style provided the audience with an unforgettable night.
Aurora's most striking characteristic was her frequent, warm dialogue with her audience. The artist never hid her appreciation for the gifts her fans gave her.
The artist, who identifies as bisexual, unfurled an LGBTQ+ flag and declared, "Freedom for Palestine." He sang his song "Through the Eyes of a Child" for Palestinian, Sudanese, Congolese, Syrian and Lebanese children.
THEIR FAVORITE THINGS ARE 'EXPORT' AND 'MY WOMAN'Aurora thanked her audience in Turkish. She also expressed her interest in the Turkish language and her dedication to music with these words: “Turkish is a beautiful language, and I love it. I know many Turkish songs. Some may be old to you, but they're brand new to me. For example, I love 'Gurbet' by Özdemir Erdoğan. There are many Turkish songs that give me goosebumps. 'Kadınım' (My Woman) by Tanju Okan is one of them. Even though I don't fully understand the lyrics, I can feel how melancholic it is.”
