In 2003, Fatma Ayar, a teacher at a private high school, assigned her Literature Club students an assignment as part of PTT's "Letters to the Future" campaign, asking them to write letters to themselves. The letters, which were supposed to reach their intended recipients in 2023, were accidentally discovered by Fatma Ayar's daughter, Elif. Written as homework, the forgotten letters hit their recipients' lives 20 years later like a bombshell, forcing Elif to confront a truth that would radically change her life.
