Language education support for women in Izmir: A new era has begun

The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, aiming to empower women in social, cultural, and economic life, has launched a new era of language courses. Through training programs held at the Örnekköy Women's Solidarity Center, women have the opportunity to learn English and German four days a week.

WOMEN'S DEVELOPMENT IS SUPPORTED

Language courses organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Women and Family Services Department Women's Studies Branch Directorate aim to support women's personal development, gain new skills, and increase their participation in business life.

The courses include English A1 and A2, and German A1 and A2 levels. Groups of 25 students each learn basic language skills in four-day-a-week classes. The women also strengthen their communication skills and gain the ability to express themselves in a foreign language.

The municipality aims to empower women to become more active in social life, more economically empowered, and more culturally equipped through language courses. As part of these initiatives, women can regularly participate in various training programs that contribute to their personal development.
