Heartbreaking news in Kayseri! Police officer who had a heart attack during a drug operation was martyred

Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek announced that police officer İbrahim Birol , who had a heart attack during an operation against drug dealers, was martyred.

Çiçek, in his statement on the social media platform X account, stated that security forces are working relentlessly to prevent drug dealers from passing through in Kayseri.

Çiçek stated that today, police officer Birol, who was on duty at the Provincial Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Unit, died of a heart attack during an operation against drug dealers, and made the following statement:

"In today's red-handed operation, the poison dealers who did not obey the 'stop' warning of our police were caught red-handed and captured before they could poison our youth. However, in the meantime, our Narcotics Department personnel, police officer İbrahim Birol, had a heart attack and could not be saved despite the interventions and became a martyr while on duty. I wish God's mercy on our martyr and offer my condolences to his relatives and our entire nation."
