Spawning ban in Krasnodar Krai in 2025

To preserve the region's ecosystem and avoid fines, it is important to know the current fishing restrictions. In 2025, strict rules for catching fish and other aquatic bioresources were established in the Krasnodar Territory.
In certain areas of the region, fishing is prohibited throughout the year:
- Pike perch and zander are prohibited for catching in the Kuban River (from the Krasnodar hydroelectric complex to the mouth), in the Protoka River, as well as in the Azov estuaries: Yeisk, Beysug, Akhtarsky, Kurchansky, Bolshoy Akhtanizovsky.
- Silver carp, white amur and freshwater crayfish – the ban applies to all Azov estuaries of the region.
- Before river mouths , fishing is prohibited at a distance of less than 500 meters in either direction from the mouth.
- Inter-liman connections and girles are prohibited:
- Akhtanizovskoye (Peresypskoye) – prohibited closer than 500 m from the shore, inland – not less than 300 m.
- Solovyovskoye, Kulikovskoye, Gorkovskoye, Zozulievskoye and others – similar restrictions.
- Kuchugurskoye, Yasenskoye – the ban applies to an area within a radius of 500 m.
🚫 January 1 – May 31 – fishing of glossa flounder is prohibited (Azov Sea, Kerch Strait, Sivash). 🚫 January 1 – June 14 – freshwater crayfish are prohibited (except for the Azov estuaries). 🚫 January 15 – February 28 (29) – pike fishing is prohibited in the region’s reservoirs. 🚫 February 1 – May 1 – fishing is prohibited in the Yeisk, Beysug, and Akhtarsky estuaries. 🚫 February 14 – May 1 – glossa flounder in the Black Sea and estuaries. 🚫 March 1 – May 31 – restrictions in the Azov estuaries. 🚫 March 15 – April 30 – fishing for roach, bream, and pike perch is prohibited in the Azov, Taganrog Bay, and Kuban. 🚫 April 1–30 – a nationwide ban on catching mullet (loban, singil, sharp-nosed). 🚫 April 15–June 15 – no vimba fishing. 🚫 May 1–June 15 – a ban on catching gobies in the Black Sea. 🚫 May 15–July 15 – restrictions apply to the Kuban Reservoir. 🚫 June 1–August 31 – a ban on catching Black Sea mussels and shrimp. 🚫 November 15–March 31 – wintering pits, a ban on spearfishing. 🚫 December 1–April 30 – restrictions on catching dark croaker and toothfish.
During the year , the movement of small vessels on water bodies in the following areas is prohibited :
- Bryukhovetsky, Yeysky, Primorsko-Akhtarsky, Temryuksky and others - the Kuban, Protoka, Beysuzhok, Kirpili, Chelbas, Sosyka rivers.
- From February 1 to April 30 – ban in Krasnodar, Anapa, Varnavinskoye, Kryukovskoye, Krasnodarskoye reservoirs.
- From March 1 to May 31 – restrictions apply to the Yeisk and Khanskoye Lake estuaries.
- From March 31 to June 15 , the ban applies to water bodies of fishery importance.
- From April 1 to August 31 , small vessels cannot be used in the mouths of lakes and estuaries of Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, and Anapa.
- Marine mammals (dolphins, seals).
- All types of sturgeon fish.
- Black Sea salmon.
- Light croaker, gurnard.
- Female freshwater crayfish carrying eggs.
- Species listed in the Red Book of Russia and Krasnodar Krai.
