Benoit Groux answered a question from journalists about the reason why he did not bring former SKA forward Mikhail Grigorenko onto the ice.

Fans were also waiting for the first match between Traktor and SKA because former SKA star Mikhail Grigorenko, who terminated his contract in July of this year and moved to the Chelyabinsk club, was supposed to take to the ice against the St. Petersburg team. However, Grigorenko never appeared on the ice, which is why reasonable questions arose about what happened. Traktor head coach Benoit Groux had to answer them at a press conference after the match.

"Mikhail did not play due to injury," Benoit Groux dismissed suggestions that the forward would miss the game against his former team for personal reasons. "He will also miss the match against Sochi. We hope he will be on the ice sooner than expected."

Earlier on the topic: Larionov stated that SKA completely controlled the game in the game with Traktor.
