Women's Health Center to Be Built in Moscow Polyclinic No. 219 for 2 Billion Rubles

Major repairs are needed in the building built in 1995. Currently, it houses a polyclinic department for children and adults. The total area of the facility is 6.6 thousand square meters, the building has five floors, including one underground.
According to technical documentation, the duration of design and survey work should be 210 days, construction - 390 days. In 2025, the contractor will receive 403.4 million rubles, in 2026 - 1.21 billion rubles, in 2027 - 403.4 million rubles.
The first Women's Health Center opened in December 2023 on the basis of the Perinatal Center of City Clinical Hospital No. 31 named after G.M. Savelyeva. It was noted then that a network of such medical institutions would be created in Moscow. In the centers, Muscovites can see an obstetrician-gynecologist, endocrinologist, psychologist and therapist. They install equipment for ultrasound, mammography, and also equip a room for detecting cervical pathology. If necessary, the center's doctors will be able to perform minor surgical interventions.
The second such center appeared in September 2024. Deputy Mayor of Moscow Anastasia Rakova then noted that in total, about 20 such medical organizations were planned to be organized in the city. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported in early July 2025 that 11 women's health centers have already been opened in Moscow, and five more are planned to be put into operation by the end of this year. However, he did not specify which centers would begin their work.
In total, from 2024 to 2025, at least ten tenders were announced to find a contractor to carry out major repairs to accommodate the centers. For example, in March 2024, the creation of such a center was announced at the E.O. Mukhin City Clinical Hospital for 1.2 billion rubles, in July - at the V.V. Veresaev City Clinical Hospital for 1 billion rubles. In November 2024, a search was announced for a contractor to equip the Women's Health Center with an antenatal fetal care department at the S.S. Yudin City Clinical Hospital for 1.9 billion rubles. The centers are planned to open by 2027. They will be equipped with modern medical equipment, and there will also be offices for psychologists, endocrinologists and gynecologists.
