Woman Performs Sexual Dance in Front of Passersby for Money, Ends Up in Jail

A woman in Singapore has been jailed for a sexy dance she broadcast online from the empty deck of a yacht, Channel News Asia (CNA) reports .

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, 31, had been live streaming on TikTok and the Vietnamese app MMlive for a long time. Soon, she began receiving offers to film various sexual acts in exchange for money. Lan agreed.

In September 2024, the woman climbed onto a yacht moored to the shore, installed a camera there and performed a revealing dance in a translucent dress. This happened in front of her husband, Adrian Ching Ka Siang. According to the prosecution, he encouraged the woman to dance more revealingly and to undress more and more, exposing her intimate parts. A passerby noticed the filming and immediately called the police.

In court, the prosecution noted that the broadcast was during the day, so Lan could be seen by children on their way home from school and locals returning from work. Siang claimed that his wife was dressed for the entire dance and undressed by accident. However, the video showed otherwise. Lan tried to justify her behavior by saying that she needed money to support her daughter. This circumstance did not impress the judges, and the couple was sentenced to three weeks and three days in prison for “making pornography in a public place.”
