Russian travel blogger Marina Ershova visited Mexico and described the trip with the phrase "run, hide, don't breathe." She shared her story in her personal blog on the Zen platform.
In this way, the Russian woman made a reference to the popular travel film Eat, Pray, Love with Julia Roberts , noting that their tour of Mexico was far from a romantic adventure. The blogger explained that in her fantasy she often imagines moments when they are attacked by drug dealers or other criminals.
She also complained about stray dogs that don't look very healthy. "Their eyes are glowing, their teeth are ready, there are some sores on their skin, and you don't know whether they sniffed you out because you smell good or just because you look scared enough," the author wondered.
Earlier, the same travel blogger admitted that Mexico is the absolute opposite of America. From her point of view, in the US everything is designed for consumption, while in Mexico people simply enjoy life, do not dwell on trifles and do not try to control everything.
