Dagestanis' bank deposits increased by more than 15.5%

As of the beginning of 2025, residents of the region hold over 154 billion rubles in bank accounts, which is 15.5% more than a year earlier. This was reported by the Bank of Russia branch in the Republic of Dagestan.

The total volume of client funds in Dagestan banks reached 205.8 billion rubles, increasing by 15.4% over the year.

Deputy Manager of the Bank of Russia Branch in the Republic of Dagestan Svetlana Batsyna explains this trend by the tightening of lending conditions and attractive rates on deposits caused by the increase in the key rate by the Central Bank.
