Car driver fatally hits woman in Rostov region

An unidentified woman was hit by a car in the Rostov region. Unfortunately, the pedestrian could not be saved.

The accident occurred on the Rostov-Azov highway on February 26 at 4:15 a.m. According to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, the 33-year-old driver of the VAZ 21124 was heading towards Azov. However, a woman suddenly appeared on the road in front of him. The driver did not manage to brake in time and hit the pedestrian at full speed.

As specified by the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Rostov Region, the woman died before the ambulance arrived.
