Portugal thrashes France and has two victories in the European Championship

The Portuguese women's roller hockey team beat France 7-2 in the second round of Group A of the 17th edition of the European Hockey Championship, which is taking place in Paredes.
At the Rota dos Móveis pavilion, Portugal, which beat Italy 5-3 on Monday, went into half-time leading 6-1, with goals from Raquel Silva (8 and 12 minutes), Beatriz Várzeas (13), Maria Sofia Silva (17 and 18) and Leonor Coelho (20), with France scoring through Ninon Dubocquet (24).
In the second half, Axelle Husson scored the second goal (34) for the French team, which suffered its second defeat, after being thrashed by Spain (8-0) on Monday, and Leonor Coelho sealed the result in the 42nd minute.
Portugal remains in second place in the group, tied on points (six) with Spain, who defeated Italy 5-0 this Tuesday.
On Wednesday, the two Iberian teams face each other in the final game of the Group, which will decide the first-placed team.
