Basketball: Gymnasium and AAC return to play for the Proliga after 6 years

Almost six years later, Ginásio Figueirense and Académica meet again in a Proliga match on October 4th, in the first round of the northern zone of the Portuguese second-tier basketball championship.

With just over three weeks to go before that game, at the Pavilhão Galamba Marques in Figueira da Foz, both teams are already training, but they are facing a problem: none of the North Americans (three in each squad) have yet arrived in Portugal.

In the case of Ginásio Figueirense, the three reinforcements were signed some time ago, but the club has not yet officially announced their names. For the coach, "more than technical issues, it's important to consider the athletes' adaptation."
