Portugal thrashes Armenia 5-0

Portugal beat Armenia 5-0 in the national team's opening qualifying round for the next World Cup in 2026.
Before the game there was a minute of silence in memory of Diogo Jota and Jorge Costa.
The goals, including two braces, were scored by João Félix, at 10' and 61', by Cristiano Ronaldo, at 21' and 46', and by João Cancelo, at 32'.
With the victory, Portugal has the first three points in the group.
The national team now travels to Budapest, where they will face Hungary on September 9th, in the second round of Group F.
