Canoeists José Ramalho and Fernando Pimenta are four-time World Champions in K2 marathons

Canoeists José Ramalho and Fernando Pimenta were crowned four-time World Marathon Champions in K2 this Sunday in the race that took place in Gyor, Hungary.
The pair of Portuguese athletes finished the 29.2-kilometer course in 01:54.00.62 hours, ahead of the Danes Mads Pedersen and Philip Knudsen, by 1.27 seconds, and the Hungarians Adrian Boros and Tamas Erdelyi, by 3.23.
This is Portugal's fifth medal in the world marathon championships, the third gold in an event in which it also has two bronze medals.
It should be noted that José Ramalho and Fernando Pimenta also won gold at the European Championships this year.
