Penelense: Emotion and celebration after title achieved

Penelense were crowned champions of the Honor Division of the Coimbra Football Association yesterday after winning 2-1 at home against Ala-Arriba in the last round. At the end, the president of the Penela club, Carlos Miguel Júlio, was emotional.
“I have no words to describe this moment. It still hasn’t sunk in. This is the result of a whole team that worked hard and never gave up,” the club’s top official began by saying in statements to DIÁRIO AS BEIRAS.
Carlos Miguel Júlio took the opportunity to thank everyone involved in this project. “The players, the technical team, the medical department, the entire management and the fans are the great workers behind this title”.
