Nvidia is stepping up again. A presentation of its next-generation chips is planned.

Nvidia has completed work on its next-generation Rubin chips, which are expected to be on the market by the end of 2026. Rubin will allow generative models to "reason," meaning they will operate in multiple stages.
Despite competition from other technology companies, graphics cards or GPUs (graphics processing units) manufactured by Nvidia are still the most popular on the market in the context of generative AI.
Company CEO Jensen Huang and his team name each new batch after prominent scientists. For example, in 2020, the first graphics cards were called Ampere, in 2022 it was Hopper, and in 2024 it was Blackwell.
The new model refers to Vera Rubin , an American astronomer whose scientific research confirmed the existence of dark matter.
The Vera Rubin NVL144 CPX server will deliver 7.5 times the performance of its current counterpart, the Blackwell GB300 NVL72. This will enable generative models to "reason," enabling multi-step execution, longer contact times, and in-depth responses.
Vera Rubin is expected to deliver a very high return on investment, approximately $5 billion for every $100 million invested in developing new servers and processors.
Nvidia's stock price rose today to $178.21 per share (up $7.45, up 4.36%), pushing the company's market capitalization above $4.35 trillion.
