ChatGPT with Erotic Content? Altman Wants to Ease Some Security Restrictions

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced in a post on Platform X on Tuesday that the company will soon relax some of ChatGPT's security restrictions, allowing users to get more friendly or "human" responses from the chatbot and allowing "verified adults" to engage in sexually explicit conversations.

Previous restrictions on human interaction with artificial intelligence were intended to protect the mental health of users of tools like ChatGPT. However, as Altman emphasized, these limitations made ChatGPT of little use to some users.

The new liberalization will be subject to rigorous scrutiny, the OpenAI CEO emphasized. This will include, among other things, rigorous age verification when accessing, for example, erotic content. This new approach is a significant shift from the company's previous stance, which emphasized the need to help people who entered into unhealthy relationships with ChatGPT.
