Moedas re-runs in coalition with PSD, IL and CDS

The current mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, will run again in this year's local elections as part of a coalition between the PSD, CDS-PP and IL, the coordinator of the IL's Lisbon branch confirmed this Tuesday.

Rodrigo Mello Gonçalves told Lusa news agency that an agreement had been reached between the three parties for a coalition candidacy in the October 12 elections.

"These three parties are included in the agreement," said the coordinator of IL's Lisbon branch, adding that the agreement should be formalized next week.

It should be remembered that Carlos Moedas announced his intention to run again last week.

Alexandra Leitão (PS), João Ferreira (CDU), Carolina Serrão (BE), Ossanda Líber (New Right), José Pinto Coelho (Rise Up) and Bruno Mascarenhas (Enough) are the candidates, now in addition to Moedas, already announced for Lisbon.
