FNE will meet with the PS Parliamentary Group on Thursday to present proposals

The initiative aims to present roadmaps outlined by the federation with a view to the current legislative term and the upcoming local elections. The focus is on valuing professionals and improving the quality of education, according to the FNE.
The National Education Federation (FNE) is holding a series of meetings with representatives from the various parties currently in parliament. On Thursday, it will be the Socialist Party's turn.
After meeting with the PSD and Livre parliamentary groups in recent weeks, the PS will now be present. The main objective is to present the roadmap that the FNE has drawn up for the recently begun legislative term, as well as another plan for the local elections scheduled for October 12th.
In a statement, the FNE announced that the meeting is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and clarified that it will also present the initial results of the National Consultation on the teaching career and working conditions for the 2024/25 academic year. This consultation was held between June 13 and 27, with the participation of approximately 4,700 teachers and educators.
The ultimate purpose is to contribute to the appreciation of workers in the sector and to improving the quality of education.
