A flash drive found in Bolsonaro's bathroom contained no relevant data, says Globo.

The flash drive found by Federal Police (PF) agents in the bathroom of former President Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) home in Brasília contained no information or data relevant to the ongoing investigation, according to a PF source cited by journalist César Tralli of TV Globo and GloboNews .
According to the journalist, the Federal Police confirmed that the examination of the device was completed in the corporation's own laboratory and considered "irrelevant to the investigation."
Commenting on the operation at his residence on Friday the 18th , Bolsonaro said that "someone asked to go to the bathroom, I pointed to the bathroom, and he came back with a flash drive in his hand." He said he was "concerned," but asserted that he had never used a flash drive in his life. He also stated that he would consult his wife, Michelle , about the device.
CartaCapital contacted the Federal Police, which informed that there will be no official statement on the case.

After difficult years , we've returned to a Brazil that feels at least a little bit normal. This new normal, however, remains fraught with uncertainty . The Bolsonaro threat persists, and the appetites of the market and Congress continue to pressure the government. Abroad, the global rise of the far right and the brutality in Gaza and Ukraine risk imploding the fragile foundations of global governance.
