Did you realize right away that the person currently featured in the 'Quando Era Pequenino' section is actress Ana Guiomar? Although her biggest step towards fame was her participation in the second season of the hit series 'Morangos Com Açúcar', on TVI, between 2004 and 2006, playing the role of Marta (sister of Simão, played by Pedro Teixeira), this wasn't her first television role.
Ana Guiomar made her small screen debut in 'Segredo de Justiça', on RTP1, in 2001. And since the beginning of the 2000s, especially after 'Morangos com Açúcar', she has never stopped.
There are many television projects that make up his career, among them 'Tempo de Viver', 'Tell Me How It Was', 'Vila Faia', 'Perfeito Coração', 'Laços de Sangue', 'Dancin' Days', 'Mar Salgado', 'Amor Maior', 'Golpe de Sorte', or, more recently, 'Festa É Festa'.
He's also appeared in other television projects, such as the show 'Congela.' But that's not all. He's also appeared on stage several times throughout his career, and now he's appearing in Portuguese cinemas.
Ana Guiomar is part of the cast of Leonel Vieira's film 'Pátio da Saudade,' which premiered on August 14th. Speaking to Fama ao Minuto , the actress confessed that she "would like to do much more cinema than what she does." She also stated that making this feature film "was really cool." "Leonel films very well, he knows exactly what he wants, and he directs the actors exactly how he wants…"
As for projects, still in conversation with Fama ao Minuto, the artist said that she is currently recording a new soap opera with TVI.
Ana Guiomar is today's guest on the 'Quando Era Pequenino' section of Fama ao Minuto , where she shares some childhood memories.
What was your favorite dish as a child (and who prepared it) and what was the food you didn't like but now like?
From my childhood, it's not my favorite dish now, but it was baked chicken with rice and chorizo on top. It was my grandmother's cooking. I started to appreciate the peas and beans more.
Who was the person you admired most?
My grandmother, and I still admire her today.
What were the best vacations you had when you were little?
With my father in the Algarve, always. That little week in Quarteira, Vilamoura... Incredible.
What day did you go back to as a child? And why?
On my first day of school at Externato de Penafirme, which was when I made the transition from childhood to adolescence. I threw a huge tantrum because it was the day my father came to Expo 98, and I couldn't come. But everything seemed so big to me, it felt like everything was opening up, a new world. I would never know the school map, I thought I would never find the cafeteria alone...
Complete the sentence: If I were to go back to my childhood, I would never... be afraid of [risky] physical sports because I feel like I fell far short of my potential. I'm afraid of getting hurt in anything physical, and I should have been more cautious.
