"European indices continue to rise slightly, with gains across almost all sectors, extending the positive sentiment seen in yesterday's session in the United States (US). The energy sector leads the gains, driven by rising oil prices, which reacted positively after the European Union approved a new package of sanctions against Russia, including a new price cap for oil from the country. The banking sector, meanwhile, is showing one of the worst performances, after Citi stated that it expects lower growth in trading revenues for European banks compared to their North American peers. In the corporate sector, highlights include the surge of over 10% in Vestas Winds, which was upgraded by an investment house and received a large order from the US, and SAAB, which reported better-than-expected results and raised its annual outlook," says Millennium research .
