"Major European indices continue to rise, with the main indices gaining more than 1%, adding to the week's accumulated gains. Highlights included strong trade data from China, which saw significant growth in exports and imports from economies outside the United States, while trade relations with the US economy suffered a sharp decline due to the tariffs imposed by Donald Trump," highlights Millennium research .
Millennium also highlights the "strong, solid results" reported by Maersk, which is seen as an "important barometer for global trade and consumption." This scenario led the company to "raise its projections, highlighting strong demand outside" the United States.
"Siemens and Allianz, still showing positive responses to their financial statements, also stand out, in contrast to Deutsche Telekom and, above all, Rheinmetall, which failed across the board. The technology sector also deserves attention after Trump proposed 100% tariffs on semiconductors , but only for companies without production in the United States, which ended up having a limited impact on European listed companies. In Portugal, Mota-Engil continues to appreciate after yesterday's announcement of the acquisition of Martifer by the Visabeira group, and EDP Renováveis announced another asset rotation," Millennium highlights.
