São Paulo prosecutor arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing his 8-month-old daughter

A São Paulo state prosecutor was preemptively arrested this Friday, the 8th, accused of possessing, sharing and producing child sexual abuse material and of sexually abusing his own daughter, who was eight months old at the time. The information was released by the Federal Police (PF) and is part of Operation Kore 32.
In a statement, the Federal Police did not name the prosecutor. Estadão reached out to the State Attorney General's Office (PGE-SP), which said it "has initiated administrative proceedings that could result in the prosecutor's dismissal" (see full statement below).
After the federal court issued a preventive arrest warrant, the prosecutor was not found at the address he had provided and was considered a fugitive until he was located in a hotel near Congonhas Airport, in the southern part of the city. He was taken to the Federal Police Regional Superintendence in São Paulo.
