James gives a free concert in Penamacor

The British band James performs on August 2nd at the Feira Terras do Lince, in Penamacor, in the Castelo Branco district, in a show with free entry .
The Manchester collective, led by Tim Booth, takes the stage at 11 pm, at Terreiro de Santo António, in the town center.
The Feira Terras do Lince takes place between July 31st and August 3rd and the lineup includes Gipsy Kings — Featuring Nicolas Reyes, on the night of August 1st, Alcoolémia, on the 31st, and Tradição d`Ouro, on August 3rd.
On the same day that James takes to the stage, Áudio 80 will also play at Praça Nova do Ex-Quartel, at 9:00 pm, Funk Boys at 1:00 am, and DJ Sayless at 3:00 am, while in the afternoon, Bardo da Gardunha will perform at Jardim da República.
On the 1st, performances by The Twist Connection, Bombatuke, DJ Dilcio and Chaito & Palosanto are scheduled.
On the opening day, in addition to Alcoolémia, P*ta da Loucura will take to the stage.
All shows have free entry to the different venues.
This year, the Terras do Lince Fair has been extended by one more day than usual.
According to the municipality, led by António Luís Beites, the event "showcases the best that Penamacor has to offer, marking the town's summer calendar, with a display of regional products and the municipality's economic and associative activities, as well as a range of cultural activities and entertainment."
In a note sent to the Lusa news agency, the municipality stated that the event, in its extended format, is also a privileged place to make contacts and conduct business.
Every afternoon there is street entertainment with various musical groups and a range of parallel activities.
On the first day, the opening of the exhibition “ A second look at the work of Bertino Cordeiro ” is scheduled at the Municipal Museum.
On the 2nd, the book “A gotinha vermelhusca”, by Iolanda Santos, is presented at the Teatro Clube de Penamacor.
