Sebrae and the Joint Parliamentary Front of Micro and Small Enterprises call for priority for projects

Sebrae and the Joint Parliamentary Front of Micro and Small Enterprises delivered a letter to the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta, requesting priority in the processing and voting of Complementary Bills (PLP) that benefit MSEs in Brazil. The meeting took place last Monday (14) in the Chamber of Deputies.
In the letter, Sebrae and the Parliamentary Front elected four priority projects: which updates the MEI limit; which amends the general MPE Law; which establishes the Legal Framework for Re-Entrepreneurship; and which creates the Women's Credit Program .
These projects aim to improve the regulatory environment, reduce the tax burden, ensure greater access to credit, and create fairer conditions for the growth of small businesses.
Carlito Merss, Public Policy Manager at Sebrae.
In addition to him, they met with the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, the President of the Parliamentary Front, Representative Augusto Coutinho (Republicans/PE), and Representative Luiz Gastão (PSD/CE). They noted that the proposed PLPs currently under consideration aim to improve the regulatory environment, reduce the tax burden, ensure greater access to credit, and create fairer conditions. Today, small businesses represent more than 90% of the country's companies and are responsible for most of the jobs generated. .
"We hope that President Hugo Mota will push for consideration of these bills, whether in the plenary or in committees of the Legislative Assembly," Merss added. Sebrae and the Mixed Front of Micro and Small Businesses will also deliver a similar document to Senate President Davi Alcolumbre. The meeting is expected to take place shortly after the parliamentary recess.
