To check the status of their tax return and refund, taxpayers can consult the processing statement on the Federal Revenue Service website, accessed through e-CAC. This service allows taxpayers to check whether they are on the waiting list or have any pending issues.
If the message "In Refund Queue" appears, it means the return has been processed, but the refund has not yet been released. Just wait and check the next batches.
In the "Pending Issues" section, taxpayers can check whether their return is in a pending issue and the reason why it was withheld. If any pending issues are identified, taxpayers can rectify them by correcting the information. To correct the error or pending issue, simply submit a corrective return through the Declaration Generator Program or the app.
The fifth and final batch of refunds will be paid on September 30th.
