Fire destroys Tomorrowland festival's main stage

A massive fire broke out at the Tomorrowland electronic music festival in the Belgian city of Boom two days before it was scheduled to open. The main stage was engulfed in flames and virtually destroyed, VRT reported, citing a firefighter source.
According to the broadcaster, emergency services are already on the scene. It's not yet known what caused the fire, which has not yet been contained, or whether there are any injuries.

Around 1,000 workers were on site to make final preparations for the festival, which begins on July 18 and ends on the 27th, a Tomorrowland spokesperson said.
