BCP debuted this Thursday on the MSCI World

BCP thus joins Galp, EDP, EDP Renováveis and Jerónimo Martins in this index.
As part of its half-yearly review, BCP was included on August 7th in the main global stock index, the MSCI World, the benchmark global stock market index that aggregates more than 1,300 of the world's largest companies, but only took effect this Wednesday.

The bank had already been on this index, but left in 2016, and returns this year.
Despite the strong appreciation of the stock since the beginning of the year, BCP fell 1.27% on the stock market this Thursday, precisely on the day it debuted on the MSCI World, the benchmark index for developed economies.
The shares are now trading at 0.73 euros.
