New work by Bordalo II puts Lisbon up for sale

Portuguese artist Bordalo II has put Lisbon up for sale in his latest public space art installation.
At Cais das Colunas, next to Terreiro do Paço, the artist placed a giant canvas, which reads “Lisbon for sale”.
Nothing has been left to chance, on the poster, which replicates a real estate advertisement, the telephone number 218 170 552 is also visible below, which corresponds to the contact details for the City Council's Habitar program.
Bordalo II then took to social media to share the work, which he completed with a sarcastic description, as if it were actually a real estate ad.
"Excellent opportunity. A city with an ancient style, with excellent year-round sunlight, recently renovated with luxurious details. Located in a premium area of the Iberian Peninsula, it offers stunning views of the Tagus River and easy access to upscale restaurants and shops," reads the caption, also repeated in English.
"Ideal for those who want to enjoy a vibrant, cosmopolitan, and gentrified environment. A dream opportunity in a city where most can't even dream of living," added the artist.
