Carvoeiro: Lagoa Wind and Percussion Orchestra concert brings together 85 young people on stage

Largo da Praia de Carvoeiro was the stage, on the evening of July 26th, for the final concert of the 5th edition of the Lagoa Wind and Percussion Orchestra Internship, promoted by ARTIS XXI , the association that oversees the Lagoa Arts Conservatory.
In a summer atmosphere and with the square completely packed, the show, which had the support of the Lagoa City Council , attracted a large audience, with estimates pointing to hundreds of people, who were thrilled by the talent of 85 young musicians.
The concert marked the high point of a week of intense work and dedication on the part of the young instrumentalists, who came from various regions of the country.
Under the baton of maestro Fernando Ferreira and accompanied by a team of nationally renowned teachers, the Lagoa Wind and Percussion Orchestra presented a diverse repertoire, concluding with a performance of the piece "Chandé" by Victoriano Valencia, which captivated the audience.
“It was a remarkable experience,” said several young musicians, emphasizing the value of the week of study and sharing that preceded the show.
"The dedication and team spirit were evident in every note, transforming the evening into a vivid testament to the potential of youth and the vitality of artistic education," noted ARTIS XXI / Lagoa Arts Conservatory.
"The image of a square packed with spectators in the heart of Carvoeiro underscores the success and cultural impact of this unique event," the organizers added.
ARTIS XXI "thanks everyone who participated and attended this event, which reinforces Lagoa's commitment to culture and the appreciation of young musical talent."
