Woman seriously injured in motorcycle accident

According to a source from the Douro sub-regional command, “there were also two slightly injured people, who were transported to the Viseu hospital, while the most serious victim was transported by firefighters to the Vila Real hospital”.

According to a GNR source, the driver skidded and another motorcyclist hit her, sustaining serious injuries. The driver of the second motorcycle and his passenger suffered minor injuries.

The alert was given at 5:45 pm and 19 operators were mobilized to the scene, supported by seven vehicles, including firefighters from Sernancelhe.

The GNR was also on site to investigate the causes of the accident.
