Correio da Manhã offers a space for comments in its articles, which it considers essential for reflection, debate and the free dissemination of opinions and ideas, and calls on readers to follow the basic rules of healthy coexistence and respect for others, promoting an environment of respect and fair play.

The possibility of making comments in this space is limited to registered Readers and Readers who are subscribers to Correio da Manhã Premium (“Reader”).

By commenting, the Reader is declaring that he/she is the sole and exclusive holder of the rights associated with that content, and as such is the sole and exclusive person responsible for that content, and that he/she authorizes Correio da Manhã to disseminate said content, to all and on any available media.

The Reader will remain the owner of the content submitted to Correio da Manhã and by submitting such content grants Correio da Manhã a free, irrevocable, transferable, exclusive and perpetual license to use said content, in any support or format currently existing on the market or that may emerge.

The Reader undertakes to ensure that the content submitted to Correio da Manhã's comment sections is not obscene, offensive, or gives rise to civil or criminal liability, and does not violate the intellectual property rights of third parties. The Reader undertakes, in particular, not to use Correio da Manhã's comment sections for: (i) commercial purposes, namely by disseminating advertising messages in the comments or in other spaces, other than those specifically intended for advertising contracted under appropriate terms; (ii) disseminating hateful, racist, xenophobic, or discriminatory content or that, in general, encourages violence or the commission of illegal acts; (iii) disseminating content that, directly or indirectly, explicitly or implicitly, has as its objective, purpose, result, consequence, or intention, to humiliate, denigrate, or harm the good name and reputation of third parties.

The Reader expressly acknowledges that he/she is exclusively responsible for the payment of any fines, costs, charges, penalties, compensation or other amounts arising from the publication of his/her comments in the Correio da Manhã comments spaces.

Readers acknowledge that Correio da Manhã is not obligated to monitor, edit, or preview the content or comments shared by Readers in its comment sections. However, Correio da Manhã's editorial staff reserves the right to pre-evaluate and not publish comments that do not comply with these Rules.

All comments or content shared by Readers in Correio da Manhã's comment sections constitute the exclusive and sole opinion of their author, which is binding on them alone and does not reflect the opinion or position of Correio da Manhã or any third party. The fact that content has been shared by a Reader in Correio da Manhã's comment sections does not imply, directly or indirectly, explicitly or implicitly, that Correio da Manhã had any prior knowledge of it, much less that it agrees with, validates, or supports its content.

Behavior

Correio da Manhã may, in the event of a violation of these Rules, suspend for a fixed or indefinite period or even permanently prohibit the possibility of commenting, regardless of whether you are a subscriber to Correio da Manhã Premium or your classification.

Correio da Manhã reserves the right to immediately delete, without any prior warning or notification, comments from Readers who do not comply with these rules.

Correio da Manhã will automatically hide all comments one week after their publication.
