Fire with three active fronts in the municipality of Mirandela
A large rural fire has been burning since 3:53 pm in the parish of Frechas, municipality of Mirandela, having in the meantime reached the villages of São Pedro de Vale do Conde and Valverde da Gestosa.
The flames were burning in a wooded area and spread rapidly due to strong winds, putting several homes at risk.
One firefighter was injured and a 4x4 van, used in firefighting operations, was destroyed.
At this time (8:30 pm) the fire is being fought by 99 operators, supported by 31 vehicles.
