Coimbra: UC student dies after eight-meter fall

A student from the University of Coimbra was found dead yesterday morning in the Sousa Pinto neighborhood of Coimbra.

The young man reportedly fell from Calçada Martim de Freitas (in front of the Department of Life Sciences) into the Sousa Pinto neighborhood (headquarters of the Union of Parishes of Coimbra). A fall of about eight meters.

The fatal victim is Marcos Lisboa, 21 years old. He was from Leiria and was in his fourth year of the Economics course at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC). He was also a member of the Quecofónico do Cifrão Choir – FEUC's Tuna.
