Geo-Park Glinka in UjsołyUjsoły, a small village in the Silesian Voivodeship, once housed a quarry. Today, tourists can enjoy the Glinka Geo-Park, open seasonally. It's a place where both recreation enthusiasts and sports enthusiasts will find something to enjoy. While guests can enjoy zip-lining, rope courses, and climbing walls, it's undoubtedly the swimming area surrounded by green hills that impresses them most.
A ticket for all-day use of the pool costs just 40 PLN. Those with a discount will pay 30 PLN, and children under 5 years of age can enter the attraction completely free of charge. Additionally, guests can take advantage of a cheaper ticket after 4 p.m. for 25 or 20 PLN, respectively. "Card payments sometimes occur at Geo Park, so it's a good idea to bring cash when going to Glinka," we read.
Besides ticket prices, tourists will also be concerned about getting there, which can be a bit tricky for those without a car. The Ujsoły commune, where the Geopark is located, is less than 30 km from Żywiec.
From Katowice, it takes just over three hours by public transport. The nearest train stop is in Rajcza on the Żywiec-Zwardoń route, from where you'll need to take a bus.
