Ozzy Osbourne's official cause of death has been announced.

On July 22nd, the world was shocked by the sad news of Ozzy Osbourne's death. The artist, who performed his final show with Black Sabbath on July 5th, passed away unexpectedly. His death certificate stated that the 76-year-old had died of a heart attack.

The New York Times obtained Osbourne's death certificate. According to the newspaper, the cause of death was listed as a heart attack. Coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease were listed as comorbidities.

The artist has been vocal about his struggles for years. In 2020, he revealed to fans that he suffers from Parkinson's disease, a condition he was diagnosed with in 2003. His mobility was significantly impaired by a quad bike accident in 2003 and a serious fall at home in 2019, which led to unsuccessful spinal surgery. Osbourne has repeatedly emphasized his mobility issues. Despite his health challenges, he took the stage on July 5th to play his final concert with Black Sabbath in his hometown of Birmingham.

After this performance, the artist was scheduled to retire. Unexpectedly, on July 22, the media reported the death of the "Prince of Darkness." On July 30, crowds of fans gathered for a procession through the streets of Birmingham to bid farewell. The rocker was buried on the grounds of his Welders House estate.
