A beautiful spot in Rome is inviting tourists. Free admission this fall.

The Italian capital boasts so many monuments and museums that a multi-day visit can be a marathon. Therefore, it's essential to include a relaxing break, ideally surrounded by flowers, in your itinerary.
The Rose Garden. A Free Attraction in RomeThis autumn, the Aventine Rose Garden is worth a visit. Roses typically bloom from late April to May, and again in autumn. Therefore, it's worth visiting at the end of October. Admission is free until November 2nd, daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The site has an interesting history – it was previously a Jewish cemetery. As a gesture of gratitude to the Jewish community, the paths dividing the flower beds were designed in the shape of a seven-branched candlestick.
In the garden, you can stroll among the blooming bushes of over 1,100 species of roses from around the world, including those from China and Mongolia, as far away as Italy. Among the most interesting are the China rose Virdiflora, with its green petals, and the China rose Mutabilis, which changes color with the passing of the days.
Roseto Comunale is located at Via di Valle Murcia 6, near Circo Massimo, the oldest circus in ancient Rome, and the metro station of the same name on line B. A 10-minute walk will take you to the famous "keyhole"—a gateway opening with a superb view of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
The most famous park of the Eternal CityEven if you don't make it on free admission days, Rome offers plenty of green spaces to relax in. A must-see is the Borghese Gardens – a vast park adjacent to Villa Borghese , larger than the Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw. One of the most famous spots is the Pincio Terrace, from which you can enjoy panoramic views of Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican. Also worth stopping by is the artificial lake next to the Temple of Aesculapius.
In the Borghese Gardens we will also find Polish accents – Adam Mickiewicz Street and the Henryk Sienkiewicz monument.
