The Polish women's volleyball team will face Vietnam in their first match of the Women's World Championship. Who will win? The Poland-Vietnam match will be broadcast on Saturday, August 23rd on Polsat, Polsat Sport 1, and Polsat Box Go.
In the first phase of the 2025 World Cup, teams were divided into eight groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, which will begin with the Round of 16.
The Polish volleyball team was drawn into Group G, alongside Vietnam, Kenya, and Germany. Stefano Lavarini's players are the clear favorites to win the first phase of the tournament. It's worth noting that this year, for the third consecutive time, the Polish national team finished bottom of the Nations League podium.
The Polish team's opening opponents will be Vietnamese. Just before the start of the championship, the Vietnamese federation announced that the team's biggest star, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, would not be traveling to the tournament.
The 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship will be held from August 22 to September 7 in Thailand.
The Poland vs. Vietnam match will be broadcast on Saturday, August 23rd on Polsat, Polsat Sport 1, and Polsat Box Go. Kick-off is at 3:20 PM. The pre-match studio broadcast will begin at 2:00 PM.
