The Polish national team performed exceptionally well in the first half of the tournament, winning against Egypt (3-0), Turkey (3-0), Algeria (3-0), and the Czech Republic (3-0), losing only to Italy (2-3).

Thanks to their excellent performance, the Polish national team finished first in Group C with 13 points and advanced to the Round of 16. Initially, the Polish team was supposed to face Indonesia in the quarterfinals, but after the Vietnamese team was awarded a walkover , the balance of power in Group A, which overlaps with "ours," changed.

This also affected the pairings for the next part of the tournament. Ultimately, Poland will face Puerto Rico in the round of 16.

The U-21 Women's Volleyball World Championship takes place from August 7–17. Indonesia is the host country, with matches being played in Surabaya, Java.
