Russia is attacking Poland. This is where the main blow comes.

- A former intelligence officer warns that Poland may become the target of intensified sabotage operations by Russia.
- In his opinion, our country, due to its strategic location, is currently the center of Moscow's interest.
- Poland plays not only a key role in strengthening NATO's eastern flank, but also in organizing solidarity among European allies.
Polish services have no doubt that the fire at the hall at 44 Marywilska Street in Warsaw was inspired by Russia.
It was arson. We have established with certainty that members of an international organized crime group were behind this arson. Third, this group acted on behalf of the Russian Federation's intelligence services," Przemysław Nowak, spokesman for the National Prosecutor's Office, said in May.
The evidence gathered allowed charges to be brought against two individuals. One of them has been temporarily detained in Lithuania. The other is still in Russia and cannot yet be officially charged.
Deputy Minister of National Defence Paweł Bejda said that Poland remains one of the priority areas of interest and sabotage activity of Russian special services.
In the foreseeable future, the security situation in the area of sabotage activities will probably remain at a high level of threat with an upward trend, he announced in response to a parliamentary question.
According to Major Robert Cheda, a former officer of the Intelligence Agency, Poland will continue to be the main target of Russian sabotage actions.
"The main Russian attack will come against Poland , not Lithuania or Moldova, because without Poland there is no NATO eastern flank, nor is there any mobilization of Europe. And if that doesn't happen, the door is open for the Russians to enter into bilateral agreements, to tear apart European countries like Hungary and Slovakia. And therefore, the more chaos and division they incite in our country, the better for them. They are inciting hatred between people, a feat valiantly aided by our political class," said Robert Cheda in an interview with "Dziennik Gazeta Prawna."
Russian Aggression: Poland in Moscow's CrosshairsThe expert stressed that physical acts of sabotage will continue to be used to undermine citizens' trust in their own state.
- Their main goal is to create the impression that the state is not in control of the situation and is unable to effectively counteract threats.
- In his opinion, it is possible that in the near future a political force will emerge that will appeal to "common sense" with the intention of removing the discredited elites from power.
- Traces of Russian influence will be visible in the activities of such a group.
"Such a force will grow. We're in a very bad situation, and I have the impression that no one has control over it. Chaos is the perfect environment for operational activities," the expert concluded in an interview with "DGP."
