There will be no 100 bypasses, however. The project turned out to be uneconomical

The "100 bypasses" program announced by Mateusz Morawiecki's government assumed the construction of 100 city bypasses by 2030. However, it is already known that this will not happen. One of the bypasses in Lower Silesia has been dropped from the plans. It concerns the Złoty Stok bypass.
The opinion of the Investment Project Assessment Commission (KOPI) turned out to be crucial. These commissions are established at regional branches of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. The KOPI meeting is attended by designers developing documentation, representatives of external institutions interested in the assessed investment, including representatives of local governments, the Lower Silesian Voivodship Office and employees of GDDKiA.
In the case of the Złoty Stok bypass, none of the route variants were approved , indicating that the investment is characterized by a very low or undeterminable economic rate of return.
Due to this, a decision was made to suspend further implementation of the project and terminate the contract with the contractor.

It was added, however, that suspending the project does not mean that it is postponed forever. It only means that in the near future, the project is not justified .

It took almost 4 years of preparatory work to abandon the investmentWork on the Złoty Stok bypass began in July 2021, when a contract for preparatory work was signed. At the turn of 2021 and 2022, as part of the first information campaign, meetings with residents and representatives of local governments were held in each of the communes through which variants of the planned bypass pass. In 2022, the second stage of information meetings was held.
The main goal of the Złoty Stok bypass construction was to lead out transit traffic generated by DK46 . This is traffic heading from Opole and the A4 motorway towards the Kłodzko Valley and further to the crossing in Kudowa Zdrój.
