A major revitalization of the famous spa town will bring more attractions.
- New lamps, resurfaced paths, a renovated gazebo, and new benches and bins. Parkowa Hill in Krynica-Zdrój will soon be transformed.
- Thanks to EU funding of over PLN 9.5 million, Góra Parkowa will undergo a major revitalization.
- The total cost of the investment is PLN 11.2 million. A tender for the contractor will be announced in September.
"I am pleased to announce that Góra Parkowa will undergo revitalization . Thanks to support from the European Funds for Małopolska 2021-2027 (European Regional Development Fund), an investment worth PLN 11,266,466.38 will be implemented, of which PLN 9,571,791.67 will come from external funds," wrote Piotr Ryba, the mayor of Krynica-Zdrój, on social media.
The mayor announced that the following will appear on Góra Parkowa:
- new path surfaces (from Polana Michasiowa to the summit, from the Kraszewskiego Bench to the Ogrody Zywiołów and from the viaduct at the lower PKL station to Zieleniewskiego Street);
- 140 new lamps, benches, baskets and plantings;
- renovated Wanda gazebo;
- a unique Bee Corner between the Gardens of the Elements and the Solar Spring.
A tender for the contractor for this important investment will be announced in September. This is another step to make Góra Parkowa an even more beautiful and friendly place for residents and tourists.

As a reminder, last year saw the launch of the next phase of the expansion of the tourist resort on Pakowa Mountain in Krynica-Zdrój. According to the investor, Polish Cable Railways (PKL), this phase will include the construction of a Glade of Music and Lights at the upper cable car station and an observation tower .
Through nature and art, the glade will reflect the resort's distinctive style, reminiscent of the 1930s. Among the planned features are plant sculptures symbolizing famous figures from the spa and Krynica-Zdrój, as well as sculptures in the shape of musical instruments. The glade will also become a venue for exhibitions.
