They were acting nervous. They had amphetamines

Last weekend ended with charges against two young residents of our district who were caught in possession of narcotics. Both interventions took place at night – first in Oborniki Śląskie, and then in Żmigród.

The first of the men – a 24-year-old – was caught by the police on Friday, July 5, just before midnight. During a routine check conducted by officers from Oborniki Śląskie, his nervous behavior raised suspicions. The officers quickly determined the reason for his nervousness. He had a string bag with white powder in his pocket. The substance was tested and found to be amphetamine.

Just a few hours later, on Saturday at around 2 a.m., officers from the Police Department in Żmigród stopped a 26-year-old for a check. He also had white powder on him. A drug test left no doubt - in this case, it was also amphetamine.

Both men have already been charged with possession of narcotics. We remind you that under the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction, this is punishable by up to 3 years of imprisonment. Photo: KPP in Trzebnica.
