Paweł Rożyński: Not only furniture. The Polish economy is falling into a trap

In recent years, we have heard more and more praise for Poland abroad. The Germans are settling accounts with the term "polnische wirtschaft" and the British are talking about how Poland may soon catch up with them economically, which would end with them coming to work here. But in Poland too, we hear about an "economic miracle" or an "economic golden age".

And it's no wonder, because in 35 years we have increased the national income per capita 3.5 times, something that few have managed to do so far. We have become a true export power with a healthy and diversified economy. And - according to many economists - we have avoided the so-called middle income trap, which has befallen countries close to us, such as the Czech Republic or Slovenia.
