Four things that made our app group explode this summer

While we were preparing this episode of The Hague Affairs for you, we were overtaken by even more political news. After a very lengthy cabinet meeting in which new sanctions against Israel were discussed, Foreign Minister Veldkamp announced his departure. The rest of the NSC ministers then also decided to leave the caretaker cabinet. We will certainly discuss this further in a future episode of The Hague Affairs, but not in this one. Still, we didn't want to deprive you of it, because the episode is definitely worth listening to.

It was a short summer recess in The Hague. The doors of the House of Representatives had barely closed before the political news started pouring out again. Election manifestos were being written, candidate lists were being drawn up, and power struggles were being fought out, all with an eye toward the October 29th elections.
