Rüdiger, who has undergone knee surgery while awaiting suspension, will miss the remainder of the league season.

Real Madrid defender Antonio Rüdiger underwent surgery on Tuesday for a partial tear in the external meniscus of his left leg.
"Our player Antonio Rüdiger underwent successful surgery today for a partial tear in the external meniscus of his left leg. The operation was performed by Dr. Manuel Leyes under the supervision of the Real Madrid Medical Services. Rüdiger will begin recovery soon," Real Madrid said in a statement.
The 32-year-old player was playing with discomfort in both knees, diagnosed with premature osteoarthritis. The surgery will keep him out for six to eight weeks, meaning he will miss the remainder of La Liga and the Nations League final, although he could reach the decisive round of this summer's Club World Cup.
Rüdiger, in fact, was waiting to find out what sanction would be imposed on him after the incidents in the Copa del Rey final, which could range from four to 12 matches. His absence will be a significant loss for Real Madrid's defense, which only has three center backs left: Vallejo , Alaba , and Asencio . With Militao also injured, even Tchouaméni could return to play in the center of defense.
