Trump turns 100: Focus on mass deportations and legal controversy

The Donald Trump administration celebrated its 100th day in office by highlighting a 96% drop in illegal border crossings and the implementation of "the largest deportation campaign in U.S. history."
To achieve this, controversial measures have been used:
Invoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, a wartime law, to deport suspected Venezuelan gang members (Tren de Aragua).
An agreement with President Nayib Bukele to send these deportees (and others) to the CECOT mega-prison in El Salvador, even if they are not Salvadoran.
Use of Title 8 for expedited deportations, such as that of 17 alleged members of the Aragua Train from Guantánamo to El Salvador.
These actions have generated strong criticism and legal challenges for potential violations of due process and human rights.
